About the Author

Brittany is a former staff writer for Freedom Sisters Magazine, is a Marine Corps veteran, has overcome PTSD, lives with multiple chronic illnesses, and has lived on three continents. She is passionate about helping people get through hardships, internal and external, and aims to be a resource like she wishes she'd had access to when she needed help, so that no one else has to go through their brokenness unaided.

Having experienced many forms of deception and abuse, Brittany has developed a passion for truth and discernment. She writes to encourage, inform, and equip people to evaluate truth claims for themselves - and not just believe everything we are told. She believes passionately that the truth sets people free, but don't take her word for it - test it for yourself.

You'll find hard truths, helpful advice, deep insights, and contemplative thoughts on For the Broken. It's an outpouring of love from Brittany for anyone wrestling with feeling broken, or anyone angry and confused that they are witnessing the breaking of those around them. Brittany doesn't write 'fluffy' pieces. If you want something with as much depth as a flat Q-tip, look somewhere else. If you are ready for something hard that can actually help you, stick around and join our community.
